Excellent article, enjoyed it. Takes me back to 1980, when LPs cost about £4, and getting up at 7am every day to do a paper round earned me just about enough to buy one LP per month. I chose very carefully.

That particular month, the choice was Elvis Costello's Get Happy, or Joe Jackson's Look Sharp. Ultimately, I'm afraid my choice was influenced by the fact the Get Happy had 20 tracks. But I think it was the right decision, just for the wrong reason.
