It seem to have a lot of downsides. You need to define new versions of all your functions, it introduces a new style of syntax that isn't used anywhere else in Python, and it creates code that can't be debugged easily.

The last point seems to be glossed over in the article but it seems quite important.

Does it have any advantages over fluent programming?
